Abstract

The topic ‘Implementation of a driver for connecting microcontroller-based machines via OPC-UA to the configuration and commissioning tool from SSI Schäfer’ is intended to lead to a device driver for the configuration and commissioning tool CPM, which enables the connection of new machines to this tool.
These are currently still under development, but they should benefit from the advantages of the CPM tool, which, among other things, can make the commissioning process simpler and faster.
The aim is therefore to connect these machines by specifying an interface and implementing it on the basis of the interfaces of the CPM tool, into which the device driver should be seamlessly integrated.
