Many companies, including Krones AG‘s Corporate Procurement (CP) Processes and Systems department, are using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to automate and optimize repetitive, time-consuming, human activities and processes to realize efficiency and time gains. An area of application of RPA that offers a lot of potential are data collection, preparation and provisioning tasks to enable Business Intelligence. An opportunity to accelerate the decision-making process by reducing the dependence on data specialists are Self-service analytics. Therefore new IT solutions like software-based process automations must be designed and implemented.
